Chatham is a Low Income Housing Tax Credit and Project Based Voucher (PBV) development. It is part of a multi-phase, scattered site, mixed use/mixed income rental residential and commercial space project funded by a HUD Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) project totaling $25.2 million.
The project is comprised of four buildings with 32 townhouse and flat-style residential rental units comprised of 22 three-bedroom and 10 two-bedroom units with off street parking for residents. There are 5 handicapped units – 3 three-bedroom and 2 two-bedroom units, respectively.
All units have central air conditioning, cherry wood cabinets, gas stoves, separate living and dining rooms, washer/dryer hook-up and utilities are included in the rent.
The commercial space has a shared community office space with an art gallery, conference room, a basement. The development also offers a 1783 square feet community, a community kitchen, 2 handicapped half-baths, pantry for resident use and onsite property management and resident services offices.
Unique Expertise:
Fair Haven has housed 57 families under a RAD structure. The development included the demolition and abatement of a former commercial establishment.
